I've spent 25 years cutting commercials, branded content, music promos and corporate films, alongside two decades directing and 1st AD'ing on set. That background means I understand how a film comes together — the tricks that lift a shot and make it flow effortlessly into the next.
My directing experience also comes in handy when an edit's missing a shot — I know exactly how to prompt AI to conjure it up. And if I'm building a pitch film from nothing but a word doc, I can envisage the shots required and bring them to life.
